Earlier this season, I had the opportunity to photograph not one, but two stunning branding sessions for Le Bon Siège, a brand-new Canadian company creating elegant, matching saddle pads and polo wraps for the modern equestrian. From the moment I saw their designs, I knew these sessions were going to be something special.

We began with Raesha and her stunning black Friesian mare, Alina, who wore the black and white saddle pad paired with sleek black polos. This set was pure sophistication. The monochrome palette looked absolutely regal on Alina, and the clean, structured lines of the pad gave the entire look a polished, high-end feel. But the real star? That beautiful, shiny Le Bon Siège logo, catching the light with every movement, adding just the right touch of glamor to an otherwise classic set.

Our second session featured Tammy and Mojito, a striking grey PRE gelding, wearing Le Bon Siège’s bold pink and red pad with coordinating pink polos. This look was bright, playful, and brimming with personality, perfectly reflecting Mojito’s expressive, charming presence. The contrast between the soft grey coat and the vibrant pad created an immediate visual impact, and once again, the metallic logo glimmered in the sunlight, adding luxury to every frame.

Both sessions took place during golden hour, allowing that dreamy light to wrap around horse and rider, elevating every detail, from stitching texture to sheen. The photos highlight what makes Le Bon Siège’s pieces so unique: intentionally designed sets that are both functional and beautiful.
