Winter Wonderland | Senior Portraits With a Horse

Sandy Hill Stables Krakow, WI

Do you remember (or still collect) the snow globes full of scenes of galloping horses and swirling snow? This senior portrait session with Ali and Dawn felt exactly like that! This sweet, big gray mare and this sweet, bubbly senior student transformed the cold weather and snow into a dream.

My favorite part of this session was Ali embracing the snowy Winter Wonderland feel of the day. It was beautiful but so cold after a fresh Wisconsin snow! We still captured the most beautiful portraits with the horses galloping around in the fields, kicking up snow and having a blast. When we got too cold, we stepped inside the barn and were thanked by the barn cats with some cozy kitty snuggles! I don’t know what it is about barn cats, but they are some of the best.

When I talk to parents during these sessions, I always hear the same things: “She’s grown up so fast!” and “She will never be like this again.” That’s why I plead with every parent I meet to plan senior portraits for their child. This is a huge milestone for all of you (especially parents who want to celebrate successfully raising a teenager) and it deserves to be celebrated! Ali was the sweetest and I can see why her parents are so proud of her.

Having images of your little one who is suddenly a high school senior really does do more than give you beautiful pictures for graduation invites, framed centerpieces, and gifts for friends and family members; it also gives you invaluable keepsakes that even your grandkids will love to look at and reminisce with. let’s schedule a senior portrait session with your high school student today!
