A Stylish Senior | Senior Portraits with a Horse

Wild Rose Ranch in Baraboo, WI

I visited the BEAUTIFUL Wild Rose Ranch in Baraboo, Wisconsin, to photograph Brooke and Missy. Brooke is a high school graduate, so we got together to capture this huge event! Senior portraits with a horse are so much fun, but at a venue like Wild Rose Ranch, I consider myself lucky to have worked with another inspiring young person in an inspiring place!

Senior portraits are all about freezing this monumental point in your senior’s life. Big changes are headed their way, and they’ll need every skill and life lesson they’ve learned to go on and do great things. But senior portraits aren’t just about imaging the future; they’re also about celebrating everything they’ve accomplished so far. We all know school, jobs, extracurriculars, and athletics are a lot to juggle, and this senior was no exception! Not only is she a capable student, she’s also an equestrian and a band member! Are any of my readers also French Horn players?

One of my favorite things about this session was her sense of style. She had the cutest outfits and so much variety that every look showcased a different part of her personality. Flowy cardigan over a cute-and-casual jean-and-tank combo? Classic. The black jumpsuit with the hat? Immaculate. The decorated FFA jacket? Inspiring! Brooke is an accomplished young woman with a gorgeous Appy partner in Missy to see her through it all.

I loved seeing Brooke in her element with Missy and talking about her life before and after graduation. All her goals and dreams breathed life into me and reminded me how much I love equestrian senior portraits! Do you have an upcoming graduate you want to celebrate? Let’s do it!
