There’s something incredibly special about capturing a familiar face year after year—watching a rider grow, a bond deepen, and a journey unfold in front of my lens. This past week, I had the joy of working with Gianna once again, marking our fourth session together since 2022. Every time we meet for a session, it feels less like work and more like a reunion, and this shoot was no exception.

This time, our focus was on Equisite’s elegant riding shirts and Callavo Dressage Boots from Dressage Collections. The goal was to create images that embodied the sophistication and functionality of these products, bringing them to life in an authentic equestrian setting. And what better place than a stunning private barn in Wellington, Florida—a location that breathes prestige and excellence, much like the sport itself.

A Horse That Steals the Spotlight

Of course, no shoot would be complete without a standout equine model, and this time, Arnie stepped into the spotlight. This gorgeous gelding, owned by the Bonavito family of Toyon Farms, carried himself with an effortless grace that made my job easy. Gianna and Arnie shared a quiet understanding, a trust built through time, and that connection shined through in every shot—whether they were standing side by side or in motion.

There’s something about the subtle moments between horse and rider that speak louder than any posed shot. The soft smile, the way Arnie nudged her hand when she wasn’t paying attention, the unspoken ease between them. Those are the moments I live to capture, the ones that turn a simple branding session into something deeply personal.
